A warm wood cottage for a Michigan lake stay, with a newer primary suite downstairs and a loft tucked above. The beach area, dock, and lakeside fire pit sit across the street from the house.
This is an old cottage with three small bedrooms, a brand new primary bedroom with bath downstairs, and a loft space that has two single beds (no bedding on loft beds but two sleeping bags that are laundered after each guest's use). There is a full bathroom on the main floor and a full bathroom in the basement. The dock and beach area across the street are for guests use! In the beach area is a fire pit to sit around in the cool Michigan evenings making s'mores! Come out and relax at a little home away from homes!
Guests have access to the entire house, and the front and back yards. Please do not use any of the extra items in the basement like the extra sheets or towels. The fireplace in the house should not be used at anytime. The fire pit outside is open for guest use, please make sure that there is no local fire ban, and make sure the fire is completely out and cool to the touch before you leave it un-manned. The dock is available for use, and you are welcome to use our paddle boat to explore the lake and the island!

How many guests can stay?
Lakeshore Cottage accommodates up to 8 guests, with 5 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2 bathrooms. Review the sleeping arrangements for your group before booking.
When are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is from 3 p.m. and checkout is by 10 a.m., local time. The host shares arrival instructions through your reservation.
What should we know about the layout or setting?
The beach and dock require crossing a road with vehicle and golf-cart traffic. Water amenities are seasonal and unavailable from November 1 onward. The indoor fireplace is not for guest use. Loft twins use laundered sleeping bags rather than standard bedding.
What is included at the home?

Can we bring a pet?
The listing allows up to three dogs, up to 50 lb each, with a fee of $90 per dog per stay. Ask the host before booking about exceptions, and include every pet in the reservation.
